You can prepare a 100 sq. ft. area for over-seeding in about 20 minutes. The 1/4 inch pegs punch holes 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch deep, just right for seed germination and plant livability. You get fast grow-together with seed sprouts one-inch apart. The small holes have a minimal effect on putting, allowing you to keep the area in play. The unit comes equipped with a spring operated ejection system to remove the pegs without tearing the turf.
